AMENITIES COMMITTEE (Chair: Lisa Dickerson):
The Stewart's Mill Amenities Committee guides current and future amenities (pool, clubhouse, basketball and tennis courts, and playground) decisions for the common areas within the community. The committee is responsible for opening and closing the pool, pool cleaning and maintenance, providing a pool monitor, assessing the need for amenity improvements and/or replacement, and the issuance of access cards to new residents. The committee will also work closely with the Social Committee in scheduling private or public community events held at the clubhouse. LANDSCAPING COMMITTEE (Chair: Audy Avin):
The Stewart's Mill Landscaping Committee guides current and future landscaping decisions for the common areas within the community. The committee is responsible for communicating violations of the association's governing documents as they apply to yard maintenance, monitoring a contracted professional landscaper, awarding the Yard of the Month, holding occasional how-to workshops, and informing the community of important landscaping dates such as when to plant, fertilize, and prune. SOCIAL COMMITTEE (Chair: Tiffany Avin):
The Stewart's Mill Social Committee organizes events to create a true sense of community. The committee recruits volunteers for events/activities the entire community can enjoy. The committee also works closely with the amenities Committee in scheduling private or public community events held at the clubhouse. Contact the Social Committee.
COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE (Chair: ):
The Stewart's Mill Communications Committee keeps the community informed. The committee is responsible for developing and maintaining a secure community website to include valuable community information such as a calendar, message boards, polls, surveys, directory, photos, and more. The committee will work closely with all Committees to compile articles, information, and other content for the website and newsletters. SAFETY COMMITTEE (Chair: ____):
The Stewart's Mill Safety Committee works with the community to resolve safety concerns. The committee is responsible for organizing a neighborhood crime watch and works closely with local law enforcement to deter crime and communicate safety issues such as parking, speeding, and noise violations. The committee will work closely with the Amenities Committee helping to monitor the community amenities and take the lead should law enforcement involvement become necessary.
